I have had the Pioneer 563a player for almost a year.
No problems, and I did have the firmware upgrade last autumn so I could listen to certain dvd-a discs, such as Steely Dan's Gaucho and
Beck's Guero.
All of a sudden, it won't read the SACD layer of my hybrid discs. I don't have an SACD only disc to test if it is not reading the layer, or just not posting it anymore in the readout display. I think it is just defaulting to the redbook cd layer.
Tried the simple stuff of unplugging the unit, and going through all the settings in the manual.
Couldn't find anyone with Google or Search engines that have had this problem.
Suggestions? Besides buying an all new unit...
