Which CD Player is best/recommended ?

Hi,
I'm just an audio enthusiast, not an expert, and I need some
help choosing a CD Player. Here are the 2nd hand available
options :

- Quad 66
- Marantz CD63 Mk2 KI Signature
- Marantz CD63 SE w/ Trichord Clock System 2 Upgrade
- Marantz CD6000 KI Signature
- Marantz CD65 SE Mk2
- Arcam Alpha 7
- Arcam Alpha 7 SE

Which option is best, regardless of price ?
Any one is CD-R / CD-RW limited ?

Why not listen to them for yourself???Trust your ears

Quad and Arcam are better than Maranzt and $50 dvd players
are close to all three, if you want a more informed opinion look
and compare their specs then listen to all of them and trust your
ears!

I think you should compare the new price, how old they are, asked price and how they look, like very used, normal used or hardly used.

The older the CDP's are the harder they _may_ have to read CD-R's, because of worn out laser.
