Hi,
Anyone know why the AN DAC 4 SIG circuit (30/1/95) shows no I/V conversion resistor on the DAC transformer primary connection? The DAC IC is a PCM63P-X. Every other transformer schematic Iv'e seen uses a resistor for conversion, usually 25 to 470 Ohms. Any ideas please? Regards, David. |

Why can't you just put the resistor in the secondary?

The schematic only shows square boxes for 'interface' and 'filter' so the resistor may well be inside one of those.
