music hall cd-25 problem
my music hall cd player won't spin the disc, it tries but doesn't. now i just modded with the zap filter and this unit also has the trichord clock 4. any suggestions any way to test motor, laser, etc? is there a way to measure voltage to the motor? help i haven't even got a chance to listen to the filter.

Well, if it stopped working AFTER you did the mods, you probably haven't installed the clock oscillator properly, or your ribbon cables between transport PCB and main PCB are not plugged in properly.
Re: clock, make sure that you grounded it, and that your clock signal goes to XIN and not XOUT. Got the CRO? Zap filter? ouch! Extreme_Boky |
