CDM1 and CD880 problem

I have some problems with my CD player
philips CD880 with CDM 1 transport

Hi
when i starts the player and put the copyed CD in,
player spin few circles but do not recordnize cd and tracks, like nothing inside

when i starts the player and put the original CD in,
player recordnize the CD songs and time, but without start playing 1st song...
when i select other song number from 1st
player starts playing
Sometimes i hear the arm stroke click and noises just before start playing the song

after the few songs played, everything is normal
the CD accepting all CD mediums and features all functions...
But when the player have pause of few minutes problems with starting track are back...

what could it be?
