Hi,
I have looked at the service manual, and it seems the decoder has an oscilator input that comes from the dac 16.9344MHz oscilator. All ok there! However, the service manual also shows the servo with a 8.46MHz clock. Has anyone clocked the servo chip? Also does anyone know if non-os I2S is enabled in this player? In the Philps cd723 it has to be "hacked" to get I2S out of the decoder IC. Kind regards, Ashley. |
