Default Toslink vs Coaxial

Glass toslink cables seem to be well featured in the 6moons review.

FYI

I am still deciding if I am going to DIY a coaxial digital output for my cd player (as it lacks one) or just buy a glass toslink cable to use with the existing optical digital output.

Has anyone tried the glass toslink cables before?
