A thing of the past
I have been wanting to DIY a DAC for a long time now, and I'm thinking about pulling the trigger in around a month or so, however:
Are DACs going to be a thing of the past soon? With DVD-A and SACD they do not allow external DAC's AFAIK (I am talking about two channel here, as I listen on headphones), and I am interesting in moving up to higher definition audio. Are DACs then a thing of the past, and we will be forced to use whatever is inside the player of our choice, or modifying the players? |
