Does anyone know where to buy R-Core transformers in small quantities at a reasonable price? I have called several places but they either had 1K unit minimums or huge tooling charges.
Thanks, Chris |

Be aware that Feickert seased business with Hifituning and this is just the rest of his stock he is selling for cheap prices. I'm also a little bit worried where to get good R-Cores and O-Cores in the future as he seems to be the only one in Europe (to my knowledge) who sold these types. They are really worth considering comparerd to normal torroidals.

If you are in the States, maybe they could help (no personal experience) :
http://www.custommag.com/products/r-core.shtml I contacted Feickert a week ago by email about dimensions of his r-cores, and got no reply. The only reply was 8 Euros shipping charge (also did not say per Tx or in total). Magura also had some experience with him with o-core transformers. Please check his thread on transformers on the Pass forum. http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showt...764#post521764 Patrick |

Yes, I had a pretty nasty reminder about not to buy something by the looks of an ad. It is though the first case I have experienced of a company using a photo of a high quality ithem of advertisement, shipping crap, and screwing people whom are not happily cheated Magura
