Anyone tried the PCM55 from Burr Brown for a NOS DAC?
http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/pcm55.html Looks good to me on paper and I am planning to build something around it. Any experiences? |

PCM55 is 5V supply version of PCM54 which is IMHO not so very good, better go for PCM56.

Parallel input offset binary dac. Not as simple to build as the TDA154x type dacs. |

i'd recommend a PCM58 instead if you really want to do old DACs.
