This is the DAC used in the Squeezebox 2. Feedback on sound quality varies greatly. From what I've read, this is one of the least expensive DAC's Burr Brown produces. Can anyone offer any feedback on the sonic potential of this DAC?
Thanks! Jim |

Hi - probably the thread is deceased, but for info, the BB is used in the Denon DCM-280 cd changer. This player was singled out by Lukasz Fikus for it's exceptional sound, once fitted with his Lampizator valve modification.
denondcd280 I think Fikus is cool , though frequently abused by the purists. His mods are easy(ish) to do, cost effective and offer genuine sonic improvements to those ballsy enough to build them. |
