I've got an Fostex RD-8 that has a ploblem with the LCD, it has been jacked with, it's an ebay "as is" jobber, I repaired the PS only to find the LCD screwed up, it had a jumper wire from the R8 pad to the R7 pad." no, R7 resister in place, look's like their might of been one at some time or other,,R8 pads looked as if there was never one soldered from OEM, Here's what it does , when powered up it show's Fostex RD-8 and copyright 1994, after a few second's, the the last 4 segment on top and bottom turn to just block's.
Does anyone have the value of the resister's on this or know if their's one in place on R7 pad, any help at all would be great. A picture of the back of it, anything. schematic's? Thanks |
