If it is a surface mount package it could well be a diode.

see here

If not a sm diode package are you sure it is 5827?, if it looks more like a chip it maybe a SM5829 which is a 8bit shift register.

It is SMD chip with pins located between a SM5813 os filter and a pair of SM5860 DACs in an ONKYO 6750.
