Default Troubleshooting and upgrading the Philips DVP9000S

For those of us who have purchased this unit, which replaced the venerable 963SA... Post problems, ideas, anything.

I've got a problem with the SMPS on mine, the 3V3 supply collapses to 0.7-1.8V under load. Has anyone experienced this ?
