Well, the analogy is the same for both. If the signal is too strong, you do what to it......................?
Hint: It "fixes" the impedance problem at the same time.
Anyway......... the only difference is that light boucning back and forth not only causes "echoes", but mode hopping in the laser. Which leads to even more pulse dispersion. Especially if you move the fiber.

We are under disgussion now.
One problem is that one of my friend thinks that Usb is not a good idea because the bandwith is shared with other equipments that use USB .
Also we concluded that we can't sell the FPGA version for a low price because of the high cost of design.
We think we are going to introduce a lower priced kit first using hardware control .
Everything is still under disgussion,and we need some days to come to a conclusion .
