I may have a used S1 removed from a CD-80. Lots of R1s, but I am not certain how good they are. They all get noisy eventually, which is why I remove them whenever I rebuild a player.

Admit it Jocko, you just hate the 1541
especially when it is partnered with the infamous 7220 |

I thought that everyone figured that out 3 years ago. But they do get noisy. Just point your heat gun at one sometimes............heh, heh.
Some of the "A" versions do not have the R1 suffix, as that is the default marking. Jocko........lamenting the demise of the AD1862, the last true R-2R ladder DAC. |
