anybody got an idea about this player?
any general info will be appreciated... is there any chance somebody could have the schematics? thanx

Hello:
I have a CDP397 and its maint. manual. I imagine that the layout is fairly similar in the 297, and I am sure that you could get schematics from Sony. My player is heavily modified, and sounds good for a cheap design. Fastcat |

thanks for the reply..
actually, the sony service here isn't exactly friendly... which is the dac chip?.. i think 397 - 297 are VERY similar.. think they share the same manual...
