I was wondering(and I hope to Goddess that this isn't illegal) if it was possible to burn the music off of a game CD. Like DMC3. Thanks

Almighty Google bestows upon us the answer!
Whether or not it's legal I don't know. It seems that it should fall under fair use, but laws on this vary across the world and are often unclear. But who cares about laws? Morally I see nothing wrong with it, so I do it all the time. In case you come across a game from which the music files cannot be ripped directly, it is well worth investing in a sound card that has a digital loopback, so you can record the output perfectly.
