Highly approved - hint: for the setting, don't go higher than say 7. I even use it on 1 for a subtle and pleasant difference.
I have a modded EMU 1212m card (AD8620 opamps, OSCONs for the digital section, Panasonic FC for analog) balanced to UcD400 amplifiers into Infinity Reference Standard II speakers. Sounds good to me, on the low settings makes the individual instruments stand out more in the overall ambient
