What is the difference between a clock for a CD player and a clock for a DAC?
For instance Tentlabs have a XO2 (CD / transport ) clock but also sell a XO DAC for dacs? |

Konnichiwa,
Well, in principle a clock is a clock is a clock.... BUT, in a DAC, unless you want to re-clock asyncronously (which has interesting effects but which I do not recommend) you need to be able to syncronise the clock to the vaerage clock frequency of the transport, without adding jitter. Guido's clock for a DAC does exactly that.... Sayonara |
