Hi,
My Marantz CD 42 died When I put a CD it doesn't speen the CD When I turn it on with the stop & play buttons pushed (I think this is test mode - I dont have the service manual) I get code "P122" Does anyone know what this code is ? I don't have the service manual so if you have it I will glad if you can mail it to me also I will be glad to ear any other idea that help me bring it a live Thanks Zachi |

Does it attempt to focus?
I have had a few Marantz CDM4 based players where one of the spindle motor wires broke of the motor terminal. Have a look at that first. |

If it does not spin but tries to focus there is a good chance it is just a wire on the spindle/turntable motor. Hope it is.... If not then it could be servos or PSU
