Hi all,
Despite repeated attempts, I have not been able to successfully download the HI_RES image of the Mark Levinson No. 31.5 reference transport digital output board, available on this site:
http://www.marklevinson.com/image_library/index.asp?categoryID=1&productID=15
Does anyone have this pic? I am curious to see which components they are using on the board.
Thanks
Ryan

Right-click, save as and save to desired location, then simply open the file, there really is nothing to it. Oh, and to spoil things for you, it is a Philips transport. Furthermore may I recommend the following for some evening reading?

Sander,
Thanks, but that is exactly what I have been doing... Maybe bandwidth or speed restrictions lead to the file not being downloaded correctly. But if you have it, would you mind mailing it to me at
rlhill@netactive.co.za
That would be useful thanks.

You should have it in your mailbox by now.

I was always planning on reverse engineering the whole player, especially when I already have one complete unit, and original componenets for another one: front panel with display/control board, both main boards, right power supply, and CD-Pro mechanism.
Although I bought the unit 6 months ago, I still didn't get to opening it.
When I do, I can post very detailed pictures.
BTW, all regulators are LT1086.

My unlucky day
OK, so I tried:
Downloading the file from the site
Getting Sanders to send the file to me.
Both ways, I get the infamous red cross when I try to view in IE 6.0.2800. I have also tried opening the file in Windows imaging.
The error message is
"The document cannot be opened. The compression format is invalid or is not supported".
Anyone else have a copy that you have viewed and that works? Please send to
rlhill@netactive.co.za
Thanks!

Ryan,
The file has a JPG header which is of a different format than normal, so that could cause problems. Let me convert it for you and resend.

That is nice... rubber suspensions for the xtall board. Useless, but nice
And tucked in a corner there is a TDA1305T - not used...
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
