Default reg:audiolab CDM service manual or help with problem

Hi there people

I have a cdm that I got on the cheap. All works well. I replaced the bulbs that go with leds... that works fine. I just got to fix the aes ebu output. It dosent give me anything when I hok it up to my 8000dac. I knowit isnt the dac as I have tried with another cdm and it worked. I found a cd that had slid out of the back of the transport mech inside the case! This is what probaly damaged something. i have checked for obvious physically damaged or sloked parts but cand find anything. A service manual would be great so I could run some tests etc.

regards
dave

I know this is a long shot in resurecting an old thread, but can I have a copy of the manual?

I have a fully working CDM and would like to eventually do some upgrades and it would be useful to have anything to hand that would help.

Also I am intereested in the LED mod, did you use green or white LEDs?

Cheers,

Ian

hello

The circuit diagrams I have are large A3 printed ciruit diagrams. Not very easy to copy or scan.... I used standard leds from maplin.... I dont remember the voltage supply to the bulbs put I calculated a resistor value and bunged in the leds as a replacement. thats all I did
