I bought a Technics SL-PJ28 based on two separate web resources saying it used the CDM4/19 transport mechanism. It doesn't. It has a cheap mechanism that looks like a Samsung or Sony. Carp!

Yours is not made in Germany,I suppose.
As a rule of thumb:Those with an A-suffix are made in Germany. |

It hasn't the "A" suffix. The web resources listed both with and without the "A" as having the CDM4/19.
