I think I can help here,
The mechanism your CD player has is SANYO SF-P101N.
They come in two flavours: 15PIN version and 16PIN version. (just count the number of wires you ribbon cable has!). Otherwise, they are exactly the same and quite good! They are very sensitive to static discharge and come from the factory with a solder bulb that has to be removed once the unit is installed. Antistatic wrap must be used.
They are available from everywhere for around 20-30 euros.

Right!
Indeed.
Many years ago I had a Nad 'Monitor Series' receiver.
I contacted NAD to buy the schematic. They told me to contact my local distributor (in Portugal).
I contacted the distributor and after many explanations (!) of why I wanted the schematic (you can bring it, we repair, blah blah blah...) and explaining that the amp was not broken, I just wanted to buy the schematic... they said:
"Look Mr., we don't sell schematics. Only with a special authorization from NAD".
NAD never more for me, thanks.
I simply can't stand to work this way.
BTW Yamaha is similar.
