Marantz CD63 & CD67 mods list

C107 is 0.047uF = 47nF. I had non of these so I put 2X 100nF in series (measured to be 49nF) under the pcb

PS Its my company so I order from RS when I want. lol

This may seem like a strange/pointless exercise but...

I was thinking how heavy my cd player was so I looked in the service manual and a CD63 is 4.1 KG.

I assume the KI will be slightly heavier with bottom plate and strut bar.

I weighed mine..... 6.4KG

Hi Brent,

Nice job on the HF PCB! CD67 has a chip there, not much else to do but improve some PSU bypassing. Your player will be worth it's weight in gold with all these $$$ silver mica's !

It's nice to be able to mod the HF circuit, but the 67 has NONE .

More mods

Caps and resistors on servo. Silver Mica and 0.1% tol res of course.

Its defo a little sharper on the treble. I need more listens but what I hear is very smooth indeed.
