Well my player i got off ebay is now skipping quite a lot, and i haven't even modded the thing yet

also recieved this distressing email from national:

n.b. modding will commence next week as i have no lectures on tuesday or wednesday so can wait for deliveries from maplin (solder and new iron tip), and many more parts from farnell.

I had the same response from National the other day, and I was ordering LM1672s.
It was my first attempt and I used my hotmailesque account details - so I assumed it was to do with me. Perhaps not.

Maybe they're hoping you'll all buy expensive LM394s for your discrete output stages instead?

I used a hotmail address and it worked fine. Did you all fill in all the details appropriately? Maybe someone vets them and if they don't like the look of your details, you don't get em!
