On these pics, the red Wima cap is written "0,033, 63 A, Wima, V9". Does it mean anything to help me?

I think you'll bann me very soon for making HF noise in the topic...

Look for the brand name Rifa. It's carried by Farnell.

While you are at it, order four 39mH double coil Murata inductors (je ne connais pas le vrais nom en Francais).

Thanks for answering!
but...
I think I've just discovered that PPS stands for "Polyphenylene sulphide"... wich are out of stock with no offered alternative!
This is my fate...

And what is the Murata stuff for?
For 39mH inductance they only have a Toko one... out of stock!

Maybe tonight is the night I suicide! ( I know many wants it so much!! )

... maybe the 36 or the 43mH dbl Coil Murata http://fr.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSear...=9528504&N=401 will fit? What for? A chimney?

et ton français me semble très correct !

Merci. (not hinting at killing yourself )

To answer your what question: it would save you some time getting the components, as it seemed you were ordering

Honestly, the PSU quality is important for good reproduction. You might experience it in a later stadium after doing the mods you are planning. 36mH will be fine too, look for the least resistance but current capability of at least 150mA. 1.000uF Rubycon ZLH are also sold by Farnell. Get some stock, they're good caps and not too expensive.

It's a good thing you search for yourself. If Farnell is out of stock, they might receive the items within days, just ask.

They are a little low on turns. Might be no more than 1mH. Can you wind the bobbins with 0.15mm lackered wire?

To late, no time to waste here in the sommerheat - Dr. Weller is already doing magic

I'll just try them as stock. Otherwise I'll rewind them.

[this calls for a silly joke but I can't think of one]

Amigo,

Without knowlegde it's very hard to complete any modification whatsoever. The players electronics is delicate and can be ####-up in no time from the heat you apply. Furthermore, adding a single 100nF bypass cap makes no major improvement.
