I have also thought of making it a top loader lol. This would mean I can sit the mech on a nice support.
Front first though Brent

Why not playing with murdered players' fronts?
http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/r...0/IMG_5285.jpg or champagner's Ian one? HiFiSounds.co.uk Marantz CD63 CD67 Modification QuadII rebuild or full polished one then vernished of chromed or anodized? Blue to go with your leds

Or just a 10mm thick aluminium plate CNC machined to your needs. Might not be cheap but would look nice. Might also be worth considering increasing the player's height at the same time so you can fit bigger transformers in and/or spread things out a bit.

Don't - he'd give every power pin in the player it's own 100VA toroid with S-reg given the room!

Ian, don't remeber, all roads bring to the same old places !
The second pics is better as the champagner style given by your lights color is very luxury

Hi,
sorry to jump in when this thread seems to have come such a long way but I am a novice looking to install an external clock (rockclock) and external psu . I have generic instructions but can anyone give some more specific instruction on the cd63 mkII ki sig? What do I physically need to do to the existing clock set-up and where exactly do I take the power supply for the psu from. Pictures would be very useful! thanks |
