Default Digital out transformer

Hi,

Has anyone upgraded the digital out transformer, LT01 ? I saw some advice earlier in the forum to use 76601/3C from Murata or the S22083 from Newava but I didn't see if anyone actually did it and found any gains.

Regards

Pete

Hi Pete

I did think of it in the beguinning, but after the very good mods done inside my CDP, I do not see the point in using external devices to process the signal.

I swapped 2x 3.2VA tx for 2x 7VA, swapped 4x 16v 220uF Silmics for 16V 470uF ZA and added the extra base plate for more mass.

Looked awesome in the workshop! I'm now in the "seen it heard it" club. TY!

I bet it did sound good when you got home!

You saw it before the new tx

Yes the improvements were noticable at home, sadly the work speakers don't do it justice.

I've done the HDAM bypass, replaced the opamps with 4562's & fitted a new clock with its own PSU. Just checking the DC offset, I have 15mV on the L channel and 45mV on the right. Do you think 45mV is to high??
