Hi,
I've build a USB soundcard with an opto out. Now I would like to add a coaxial output. The driving IC delivers 3,3V with a max output current of 10 mA. Can I then simply connect a 75Ohm resistor to a 6,6:1 transformer? Some designs incorporate a resistor over the transformer at the output side (before the 75Ohm resistor). Why is that? Thanks in advance, Remco Poelstra |
