Hi,
I use a Rotel RCD855 (16x4) and a Rotel RCD965BX-LE (bitstr) Output level is 2V / 200 ohm But both of the cd players do overload the input of my amp (Copland CTA 401) 310mV / 100kohm Is there a way to reduce the output of both players, and I prefer not to use an extra resistor. Maybe use passive IV conversion ?? Greetings, Toni |

No. because your amp has an input pot and the pot does the necessary attenuation. No problem at all...
