Default Info on HK HD7500

Hi all
I saw an HK HD7500 at one of the local swap shops for $60.
I have searched the web and the forum for some info or opinions on this player but have turned up nothing.
Does anyone here have any experiance with this unit. First or second hand info is fine as I would just like to get a feel for it.
I have experiance with rotel rcd965bx, arcam alfa, and a couple of sony machines.
Thanks
Hugh

Maybe I can help by sending the service manual ? BTW it has a discrete built output circuit.

Edit: sent it anyway.....

I'm sorry to threadjack, but do you happen to have the DPR-1001 manual jean-paul?

Yes, I have that one too. But I have a new rule. Those that threadjack or ask for schematics will have to give me a recent service manual in return

Thanks jean=paul
Any idea how it sounds?
I was kind of wondering if it was one of thier mid-upper range players and might be worth getting to play with down the road some time.
A decent single player is becomming hard to come by at a resonable price. To bad I didn't see the remote with it.

Jean-Paul,

Could you send me an email so we could take this offline?

Good luck Hugh. Maybe that remote will turn up.

I was working on a hifi shop at the time the player arrived (between 1991 and 1993). Wasn't one of my favourites then but it received very good reviews from hifi choice and what hifi magazines. Maybe I can look for a brochure on my parents house. I think it had a MASH dac. Anyway 60$ seems a good deal if laser is still in good condition. Cheers.
