Hi
the application note for the pcm63 shows pins 5 and 6 bridged - no indication that it is a cap or resistor, etc - can the pins simply be bridged w/ copper wire?

Thanks
Bill

If the original design has 5 & 6 bridged, then it should be bridged on the stacked chip. Copper wire is fine.

Hi ,i stacked two PCM 56 with a 720 ohms common I/V resistor , without any major problem and a good result .
Later I implemented a common MSB adjustment circuit (except the 470k on trim 15) .
Maybe it's not an ideal solution , but it workx quite well .

Konnichiwa,
sorry for late jumping in. Is there any recommended value and/or brand for capacitors in this app?

Kind regards,

Stefano

Hi again,
do you mean to have separate I/V stages for each paralelled DAC and "combine" them (I imagine adding them), or what?

Stefano
