Hi,
I have been tinkering with speakers and amps for a long time now and am looking to expand my horizons a little and have a go at a DAC. Now the thing is, I'm having trouble getting to grips with digital electronics so I was hoping for something fairly simple and cheap with parts available readily in the UK or Australia that would show an improvement on the standard one in my Sony CDP XE220. The sony has a nice optical output but NO electrical ones so I would like to use it. Am I biting off more than I'm likely to be able to chew? If there are any reasonably priced kits that anyone has built and can comment on, this could also be an option for me. Please bare in mind my location, UK or AUSTRALIA Any suggestions appreciated. |
