Since it seems unlikely that I will find a replacement
laser for the CDM4/19 transport in a Rotel 855 and it is clear the laser is defective, I am wondering if this is a realistic option: Replacing the transport completely with one that would be compatible with the Rotel power supply with the least amount of tweaking. If this option is unrealistic, are there other options besides saving the transformer and gutting the rest. Comments would be very much appreciated. Michael |
