TDA 1541A Marking
Dear Tonyb,
As Carondimonio said, "AT" is an SMD version.
The production period was later than the normal DIP versions.
But if U like to build/diy 1541a kits, i still suggest the DIP version. Dip version had better punch/Bass than SMD version. This is the test result for me to compare for two version before I prepare to use in my kits.
thx
thomas

Many thanks to everybody. I do not have any pictures. These TDA1541 versions can be found for sale. However, my old Philips manual does not show any versions and this chip is already obsolete in my other manual. I was wondering if C1=S1 and C2=S2 grades but it does not seem to be the case.
