PCM63P Vs. PCM63P-K Differences?

Can anyone tell me if there is an audible performance difference between these two variations of the PCM63P DAC's?

Good question.

I have tested 40 PCM56 all grades.

With distortion adjustment K grade was always very good, but the rest of it was mixed, some J was very bad while some L was very good.

Without adjustment K was average only and some plain have been much better, but all worse than adjusted.

Maybe chips change performance after burn in.

PCM63P-K sounds better ( but leave out the adjustment potentiometers if you don't have the equipment to measure distortion ). It will sound and measure worse with all pots in the middle position than without them.
