Default TDA1540P Chip's

Ok i got my self a nice new FREE decent Cd player a Philips cd150 with 2 x TDA1540P chips.. is there any way i can do mods to this cd player other than the power-supply ? Pictures to follow ..

Output caps are electrolytics, you could replace with 10µ MKP, also supply decoupling caps on op amps. NE5532 or LM833 ?

This is chippo chippo cheap cheap, I guess with cdm4 and weak PSU.

But 14bit sounds very tube-like.

Try to get a cd304 /mkII...
