I use one of those 2.4 gHz video links to shoot S/PDIF from my computer to my main stereo setup. It works well as long as I don't walk in front of the transmitter or have my 2.4 gHz phone running in the room. I can't tell any difference between a hardwired connection and the wirelss link. Range with a couple 2.4 gHz phones and WiFi in other parts of the house is about 15 feet. It would probably be considerably better with the other 2.4 gHz devices turned off. I'm looking to purchase a 2.4 gHz RF amp to see how far I can extend the range.
