Default This may be stupid but..

Hi,
I am starting on a non-OS DAC project, and Ive came across a lot of useful stuffs from this forum. I understand that with TDA1543, it is an average performing chip but because it is so cheap, it can be paralleled/ stacked to get better performance (if the probablity theory is true)
Initially, I was thinking of 4x, then it gets larger to 8x, and I was wondering if it is possible for 16x or maybe 32x. Has anyone tried it and possibly share the results here?
Thanks

Search under TDA1543+headphones. There was a thread about building a direct drive headphone amp using multiple devices.
