Hi all Digital noob here. (only basic knowledge of AC/DC analog etc)
After viewing 26 Digital Delay (Mitsubishi M65830 Digital Delay chip) at the ESP site I was wondering,if it is possible that another project like this is about(that atleast uses a chip that is still being manufactured),but instead has variable delay,in moderately small steps. The usage is for audio ofcourse, with long pathlength basshorns in the home. Cheers! |

The project you link to has analogue inputs. If your audio source is analogue you might want to try posting in the analogue forum if you haven't already done so. If it is digital, how long a delay or what size steps are you after?

Ah Yes it would have both analogue input and output
[ie non delayed audio signal in,and delayed audio signal out] Am wanting a delay, perhaps in 5ms increments from 0-30ms Il try in the analog forum. Thanks alot |

It looks like NJU9702 is a pin for pin equivalent. It is available but expensive. MCM lists them for US$25 each -- and only with a 30 day backorder delay. Mouser will sell them for ~$5.50 but minimum quantity is 100 !! Anyway if you want it bad enough it can be had.
