Working on Digital Audio with C67/C55

Hello,
I want to transfer digital data (@16 or 24-bit+44.1 kHz & not analog) from a File (and CD) through Parallel port (C6711) and USB (C5510) as the audio-codecs/data codecs of both of these cards donot support digital data input. Then i want to perform multirate SRC on the data i have stored at the card. Then transfer that data back to PC through Parallel port (C6711) and USB (C5510) AND also listen to that data by tranfering it onto LINE-OUT of DSK.

Plz guide me through this process. I found that i must use McBSP or EMIF to transfer data in digital form onto DSK.

ok, one more thing i found out is that: EMIF is used with Parllel Interface and MsBSP is used with respect to serial port interfaces.

Do someone have more on it?? or have anyone worked on McBSP+EMIF for digital audio transfer or just digital data transfer??

Have you tried searching or posting in the comp.dsp newsgroup?
Alternatively, if you have a SPDIF I/O capable soundcard, you could add an SPDIF decoder to either of the boards using the expansion port.
