Default Ceramic resonator pinout

Just a quick newbie question. For a 3 pin ceramic resonator, is the pinout diagram attached correct?

Lightbulb Ceramic Resonator Pinout

Hi trwh,
Yes, your picture is correct but don't use this thingie in a low jitter clock like the KWAK-CLOCK. Do use a real quartz crystal!

Hi Elso, thanks for your reply.

I intend to use the ceramic resonator with a PIC16C54XT microcontroller, in a remote volume control circuit driving a motorised pot. I am copying the circuitry from a schematic in an amplifier service manual since a) I am a newbie, and b) so I can be sure that the control will work with my remote!

See ya,
