I need to source a new drive mechanism for my Delta 70.2
I think it's the CDM4, but not sure which version or where to source. Any ideas? |

It should be a CDM4/11 but can be replaced with a few others.

Mike,
going for a Marantz with cdm4/19 is not the way to go. you would do better with a cdm that replaces either the complete cdm,or even the cdm-cum-servoboard. cdm4/19 only supplies you with a Rafoc. |

You beat me to it, TDA!
That series of Marantz CDPs all have CDM4/19 which is not a direct replacement for the CDM4/11 - unless you are up for some laser surgery. It would be easier to look for an older Philips based machine with one of the CDMs that Chlo mentions in the linked threads. Some are reported to be better than the original CDM4/11 - which would be a bonus!

Hello,
Try to look for Philips CD371,CD373AH00,CD373AH01,CD471AH00,CD471AH01,CD47 2,CD473,CD650,CD660,CD670,CD771 or Marantz CD65DX, CD75DX. These players has CDM4/11 or CDM2. Hope this will help. Chlo. |

Hi Chlo Which CDM2s have you tried? Did you encounter any problems with the replacement or did they all just slot in?
