PCM1800 - replacements?
Hi All (First post!)
I have a processor (EQ) with RCA input on it, right behind these is a PCM1800 (according to specs k-grade burr brown ADC - however i believe some of the specs are incorrect/fudged)... I want to know if there's anything i can directly (or indirectly) replace it with? It has a 95db S/N ratio, this will be the worst ratio in the system and the processors ability is a little limited due to the poor input signal (IMHO) to start with! Is there any ADC's that i can use to replace it? It doesn't HAVE to be very easy, i'm ok with building a separate board up, but there's not a huge amount of spare space in the unit so would like to make it as compact as possible!!! Anyone have any suggestions/comments regarding this chip as well? Thanks muchly! Aaron |
