Laser type on Rotel RCD951?

I believe this is a KSS213 but there are apparently a, b, c, d and e variants of this laser. Anyone know which it uses and what the differences may be if any?

My -950 uses KSAA-210a, anyway. Not sure how similar the two units are. You might just e-mail Rotel about it--they've been pretty helpful regarding issues with my second-hand CDP.

My friend bought a "equivalent" for about USD 12.00 and it seems to work fine. We will see how long it lasts.....
