Default Mutiple clocks in CD players-TDA1541

Forgive my ignorance, Is it possible to have mutiple clocks in CDP, all sitting at the same frequency?

I ask since my DAc (TDA1541) has teh facility to connect one of it pins (pin 4) to the crystal output. At present, this is connected to the SAA7210, pin 19, which is Xin. What I thought was why not have a separate clock for the DAC pin 4 and a separate one for the system (via SAA7210)?
