I am about to change the CDM1 drive on a Revox B226 with one taken from a Philips 304. Do I simply replace the drive board with the one from the Revox and plug in or will there be adjustments to the laser etc required? I would have thought that the replacement unit would simply boot up with the same laser power etc. as the one taken out - but thought it wise to check.
