HEllo all,
I'm going to buy a Marantz CD11 Mk2, but untill now; i didn't found news about..Chip DAC..transport mechanism.. Anyone can help me..? Thanks. |

Hi,
From memory this was the first of the big 1-bit marantz players. As far as i remember it did not sound that good (no personal experience) and it was quickly replaced by cd15 and cd10. Guess that was also the reason for the mk2 version. From the 1992/1993 brochure (cd-11LE version): 2 times 1547 dac, sm5803AP dig filter, coper frame, cdm4 transport (metal, guess d36 version), xlr outputs and cinch. nice looks (i like it). 16.7 kg!! dig out: optical and cinch. My guess it has 7310 decoder. I wouldn't mind having one
